43 years…

Today is my parents’ 43rd wedding anniversary. This is how it looked when they got married. My brother was a couple of years away from entering the picture. And I was five years away from making my appearance. I love this picture because my mother looks like she just got away with murder; which, I suppose, is how it feels when you finally found the one.

These two are my favorite people in the whole world. I love them dearly. And the fact that they will be here in Poland in one week to be grandparents for the first time makes me endlessly happy.

Happy Anniversary, mom and dad!
