My maternal grandmother used to make the best biscuits. When I got older, I learned that they were Pillsbury biscuits which came in a tube. Anyway, she wasn’t a very good cook. I decided that I wanted to take a stab at making biscuits and this is what I came up with. They aren’t as flaky and soft as the one’s my grandmother made, but they’re homemade. And sometimes, that makes all the difference.
