Moving Day!


My old friend Rick Davis passed away earlier this month. It’s something I’m still processing. However, yesterday I received an envelope full of old drawings and writing I did during my pharmacy days – all of which Rick had kept for the last 15 years. I can’t begin to explain how moving this is for me, knowing that he’d do something like this.

I’ll probably post more later (sadly, some of them are faded because I used fax paper), but for now I want to share this picture that I drew when I moved into my first apartment in Tampa back in 1997. I was driving a 1989 Ford Festiva at the time, which was the source of a lot of amusement among Rick and the rest of my friends.
